The 7th Syndicate Meeting

The 7th Syndicate Meeting of ZHSUST was held on 13 April 2026 at 12:00 PM at the BoT Conference Room of the university.

The meeting was chaired by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Khair Jahan Sogra, who presided over the session with dignity and leadership.

The meeting was also attended by two distinguished external members — Professor Dr. Md. Towhidul Islam, Chairman, Department of Law, University of Dhaka, and Professor Md. Shariful Islam, Department of Political Science, University of Dhaka. Their presence and valuable insights added great significance to the proceedings.

During the meeting, the syndicate members engaged in comprehensive discussions on a wide range of academic, administrative, and developmental issues. Important matters related to curriculum advancement, quality education, faculty affairs, student welfare, and institutional development were thoroughly reviewed.

Several important decisions were taken to further strengthen the academic environment, ensure effective governance, and accelerate the overall growth of the university. The meeting reflected the university’s strong commitment to excellence, transparency, and sustainable development.
